ANNAMMAL HOSPITAL provides radiology services with appropriate diagnostic support and access to specialist radiological consultation on an on-call basis.
Radiologist Available on On-Call Basis
ANNAMMAL HOSPITAL is having radiologist on on-call basis. Hospital is not having CT and MRI scan facility. If required, patients are transferred to Marthandam CT and MRI scan center.

The Radiology Department supports the clinical team by providing diagnostic imaging services and radiological consultation as required for patient care.

CT and MRI scan facilities are not available within the hospital. When required, patients are transferred to Marthandam CT and MRI scan center.

Regulatory Requirements
All laws, regulations, directives, guidelines and registration requirements of Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) & District Health & Family Welfare Office are met and followed.
Radiation Monitoring
The staff shall be provided with Thermo Luminescent Dosimeter to measure radiation received during working hours and monitor occupational exposure.
Department Records
All required records are maintained by the Radiology Department as part of its operational and regulatory requirements.
Registration Certificates
The Radiology Department maintains the required registration and approval documentation.
AERB Layout Approval
AERB layout approval is maintained as part of the regulatory requirements for the Radiology Department.
Form B – District Health & Family Welfare Office
Form B registration from the District Health & Family Welfare Office is maintained as required.
Radiation Safety is a Priority
The Radiology Department follows applicable regulatory requirements and maintains appropriate records and radiation monitoring practices for occupational safety.
